Clever Austin is the alter-ego of Melbourne musician and Hiatus Kaiyote drummer Perrin Moss. On “Blue Tongue,” he’s teamed up with the Texas producer Jon Bap to create a textured, curious jam, complete with Bap’s impassioned crooning, wandering synth keys, and an array of shakers coloring the edges of the beat.
