Sounding like an extra polished Hiatus Kaiyote collaborating with uptempo electronic maestro Pomo, Masok (meaning “helicopter” in Hebrew) is a four-piece made up of members Jenny Penkin, Nomok, Tal Kohavi, and Omri Shani.
“In a Rush” is my favorite track from the band’s new album, The Bigger the Risk, with its playful synth keys, galloping drums, and melodic vocals from Jenny.
