Currently very into the output of Market, a musical project of Melbourne, Australia’s Lee Hannah.
Having been one half of housey duo Take Your Time, making music as The Townhouses, and playing as a session musician for Wafia, here Market turns his attention to lo-fi acoustic bedroom pop. Using drum machines, gritty tambourines, handclaps, and the aforementioned warped guitar strummery, “Circles” is delicate and sun-rinsed, a relaxed stroll through song.
