Last year I was very happy to hear Daniel Caesar working with BADBADNOTGOOD on the excellent “Please Do Not Lean,” which ended up at number 28 on my Top 100 Tracks of 2022 list (check out the full list here).

 

 

Now the Toronto artist has returned with a Frank Ocean-meets-Thundercat slow funk jam that contains heavy shades of Outkast’s “Prototype,” one of the greatest songs in existence.
