French Touch artisans Alain Quême and his younger cousin Stéphane, better known as Alan Braxe and DJ Falcon, have partnered together as Braxe & Falcon.
“Creative Source,” my favorite of the duo’s newly released tracks, is a mid-tempo cut of filter-disco happiness that leans on a sample of the funk group Creative Source’s song “I’d Find You Anywhere,” which was also sampled by Kanye West on 2007’s “Wouldn’t Get Far” by the Game. It could easily pass for a (whisper it) new Daft Punk single.
