Archie the Goldfish is a project from London trumpet player Graeme Flowers and the Finland-based guitarist Chris Bestwick.
Featuring Nadia Basurto on vocals, Aidan Thorne on double bass, and Kishon Khan on Fender Rhodes, “First Light” is a delicate and intricate jazzy drum ‘n’ bass number that glides out of your speakers propelled by a smooth-as-silk, breakneck-speed breakbeat.
