First up: the pioneering folk and jazz musician Sandy Bull with “Blend,” a 21-minute opus from his 1963 album, Fantasias for Guitar and Banjo, which I heard in the middle of the February 8, 2021 episode of David Holmes’ fantastic NTS Radio show, God’s Waiting Room.
It’s a journey.
