I’m a regular listener to Mike D’s Apple Music 1 show, The Echo Chamber.
This is my favorite episode of his show yet.
(And it’s hard to pick a favorite. The episode where Adrock got a haircut live in studio while recording the show was especially good.)
The music all the way through Episode 88 is just brilliant.
In hour 1, Dan Leavers aka Danalogue from The Comet is Coming and Soccer96 swings by to play a heavyweight selection of music from Silver Apples to Samiyam to Ras G to Madlib to Squarepusher, while in hour 2, Angus Fairbairn aka Alabaster dePlume drops some experimental electronic movements from West Africa’s Falle Nioke & Ghost Culture and some Turkish psyche-rock from Derya Yildirim.
If you love new musical explorations in addition to revisiting stone-cold classic cuts, you’re in for a treat.
