LA musicians Alex Hastings and Bryan Gomez are Pioneer 11, your new favorite psychedelic space rock duo.
Much like their NASA robotic space probe namesake from 1973, Pioneer 11 specialize in cosmic explorations and interstellar transmissions for the betterment of humanity. On “School of Fish,” cascading synths and otherworldly guitar notes evoke the effortless glide of a spacecraft through a frictionless universe, beaming back to Earth a mind-expanding message that, like all breathtaking first views of hitherto unseen stars, inspires both awe and questions about the very nature of our collective existence. Contemplating your place in our particular constellation has never sounded so good.
