LA’s Dexter Story teams up with Stones Throw maestra Sudan Archives (more of her excellent music here) in this veritably happy collision of inordinate amounts of musical talent, the gleaming result of which is “Gold,” an uptempo march of East African-referencing pop experimentalism that uplifts the listener with the shine of a hundred suns.
