This week we welcomed one of my very favorite musicians, Dexter Story, to the studio!

We talked about traveling to Ethiopia, his illustrious career, digging for records, the majesty of Ethiopian food, and his fantastic new album, Wondem, out October 23 on Soundway.

My favorite song from the album, Lalibela, is a former Track of the Day here at DanDigs.com.

Dexter also spun for us an incredible all-vinyl set heavy with Ethiopian and East African gems.

We also talked with legends Ben and Tom from Lake District, UK duo Aquilo live in studio about getting tattoos after losing a bet, their US tour so far, and playing Glastonbury as their fourth gig ever. They also graced the #DanDigsShow with an amazing brand new and unreleased track, “Never Seen You So Low.”
