We talked backstage at 1am on Saturday night just before his DJ set at the Lift here in Los Angeles about the amazing LA music landscape, warehouse parties, the first track he plays when he DJs, Pharaoh Sanders, the London music scene in 2015, Floating Points, Four Tet, Kamasi Washington, and what he listens out for when he listens to new music.
