Diggin’ This: PREP ft Phum Viphurit – “Getaway” (Bright Antenna Records)

 

PREP meets Phum.

 

 

 

The London, UK production outfit PREP, whose sound I fell in love with when I first heard their single “Cheapest Flight” back in 2015 (read my review here), have teamed up with Phum Viphurit, a Thailand-born, New Zealand-raised, and Bangkok-based artist, whose sound I fell in love with when I first heard his track “Lady Papaya” this time last year (read my review here), which landed at number 26 on my Top 100 Tracks of 2023 (check out the full list here).

 

 

The result, “Getaway,” is a neat and tidy, summer-ready poolside pop sunsetter.

 

 

Love that rubbery synth bass.
