Inspired by the “beat-driven production of artists like Four Tet, Bonobo, Machinedrum, DJ Shadow, and Madlib,” Ben Marc’s latest release, “Mustard,” is a reflective instrumental knitted together with gently plucked guitar and a trying-to-trap-the-ping-pong-ball beat.
Having studied double bass at Trinity College London, the London artist has worked with musicians such as Radiohead, Amy Winehouse, Macy Gray, Dizzee Rascal, and Jimmy Cliff.
