Diggin’ This: Dorcha – “Horses” (Box Records)
Anna Palmer, Beth Bellis, Stella Roberts, Meesha Fones, and Euan Palmer are Dorcha, a leftfield experimental pop quintet from Birmingham, UK.
“Horses” is my favorite song from the band, a retro-soul slow burner reminiscent of the Cinematic Orchestra, David Holmes’ film scores, and Portishead (which may be due to the fact that Dorcha recorded their latest work at Portishead founder Geoff Barrow’s Invada studios in Bristol).

“Horses” is taken from Dorcha‘s new album, Honey Badger, out now via Box Records. Get it here.
