The ideal sound to open up 2019.

Cairo, Egypt experimental composer and musician Maurice Louca starts January in the best possible way with his new track, “The Leper,” which brims with promise and curiosity over eight minutes of winding psychedelic jazz grooves courtesy of finger-picked guitar strings, rhythmic vibraphone lines, and drums by DanDigs.com favorite Tommaso Cappellato (whose Aforemention LP landed at number 23 in my Top 30 Albums of 2016).

Track of the day.
