On “Hot Dinners,” New Jersey’s Lazy Salon, also known as Sean Byrne, throws said dusty vintage drums, reminiscent of early DJ Shadow, against shimmering, simmering synths while glimmers of bright ambient noise dance around the corners. The resulting groove deserves repeat listens.

Track of the day.
