Also! Our Blast from the Past was the very deserving “Ode To Billie Joe” by Lou Donaldson, highlighting the drum break that has been sampled by everyone from A Tribe Called Quest (“Clap Your Hands”) to Kanye West (“Jesus Walks”).
Plus! My brand new track “Love You I Do” gets an airing! It samples one of my favorite bands in the galaxy, Hiatus Kaiyote, and fuses them with some Japanese jazz keys and a boom-bap beat.
