Last year I fell in love with the SanteJazz remix of this Big Boi and Andre 3000 gem. It ended up at number 6 in my Top 20 Remixes of 2013 list.

Now London’s Benjamin James Smith has reprised the SpottieOttieDopaliscious classic in all its melodious glory with soulful keyboard washes, wah-wah guitars, 70s strings and lazy disco horns.

Have a listen below and let this cover of “Prototype” get you ready for August.
