Album of the Week: Leifur James – Magic Seeds (Night Time Stories)

 

An experimental electronic project. 

 

 

 

Magic Seeds is the latest album from the Lisbon-via-London artist Leifur James.

 

 

It’s an intricate and considered record that calls to mind the sounds of Thom Yorke, Massive Attack, and UNKLE.

 

 

As Leifur told me on my radio show, the album “centers on themes of new growth; environmentally, societally, personally.”
