One of my radio highlights of 2021 was talking with the wonderful Arlo Parks for WNXP Nashville.

We talked about the genius of Frank Ocean, her Mercury Prize win, experiencing art that makes you feel held, climbing on tractors with IDLES, and how she fell in love with poetry.

Arlo closes our chat by reciting one of her favorite poems: June Jordan‘s Poem for Haruko, which has to be one of my favorite radio moments ever.
