It’s no secret that my favorite album of all time is Nuyorican Soul by Nuyorican Soul aka “Little” Louie Vega and Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez.
And one of the very best tracks (even though it’s virtually impossible to pick a favorite) from said favorite album of all time is the closer, “You Can Do It, Baby,” which features the genius of George Benson on guitar and vocals.
So I was therefore suitably overjoyed to learn that Louie Vega had dedicated the latest edition of his Sacred Tones radio show for Worldwide FM in tribute to George who recently turned 78 years old.
