Diggin’ This: Sampha – “Blood on Me”

 

Funny thing about new Sampha tunes is that I already know I’m going to like them before I’ve even heard them.

 

 

 

This new one is no exception.

 

“Blood on Me” places the South London singer-producer’s vulnerable yet powerful vocals front and center over iron-wrought string stabs, reckoning piano keys, and raw breakbeat drums.
