This is exactly the sort of music that gets made when people talk about forming a band while out star-gazing together, which is exactly what happened with Moonchild.

 

 

 

Moonchild is Los Angeles trio Amber Navran (vocals, tenor, saxophone), Max Bryk (alto saxophone, flute, clarinet, keyboards) and Andris Mattson (trumpet/flugelhorn, keyboards).

 

Love those lunar key swells, those cosmic string shimmers, and those celestial vocals.
