Check out this piece on one of the most talented and experimental soul and jazz musicians I know, Washington D.C.’s Diggs Duke, that I recently produced for NUVOtv‘s flagship music program, The Collective.
Jennifer Lopez serves as the NUVOtv network’s Chief Creative Officer. Vevo powers the music.
I interviewed Diggs Duke off-camera as we walked the streets of Venice Beach one Sunday, stopping to play piano and talk music at a couple of local spots.

Abbot Kinney Boulevard, Venice, California.
We then filmed his captivating live show to a select few in a downtown Los Angeles loft the following Tuesday at Hearsay, an incredible event for music lovers by music lovers, organized by KPFK‘s Morgan Rhodes and So Butter.

Loft-ering for Anxious.

Laid back. Morgan Rhodes talks melody with Diggs Duke.
KCRW and NUVOtv host Anthony Valadez was there to converse post-concert with Diggs about his musical process.
