Tomas Barfod (who for some reason I always want to call “Thomas Bar Food”) is the drummer for Danish electro-poppers WhoMadeWho.
Featuring Swedish vocalist Nina Kinert, the original version of “November Skies” is pleasant enough, but it’s the NYC-via-Berlin production duo and my perennial faves Sepalcure who take the tune to another stratosphere entirely with their beautifully arranged future garage drums, sub-bass swells, gritty shakers, and interweaving synths and strings.

“November Skies” is taken from Tomas Barfod’s Salton Sea LP released back in May on the Friends of Friends label.
The track is being released as a single on November 26 with additional remixes from Nite Jewel, Jerome LOL, and Touchy Mob.
