JJ DOOM – “Guv’nor” (Official Video)

JJ DOOM is the collab between leftfield hip-hop’s rapper-producer Jneiro Jarel & London-born, metal-masked MC DOOM.

Viewing notes:

1.  Saying “Ello guv’nor!” in an overly angular Cockney accent is oddly satisfying. Dropping it as a sample in a song is genius.

2. I’m betting that a shout-out to the “rolling hills of Dover” is a rap music first.

3. It’s beyond unfortunate that the split-screen, mirrored video cameras make you look like you’re trying to walk normally after accidentally soiling yourself.
