Lebanese indie music heavyweights Charif Megarbane (a multi-instrumentalist who plays in Cosmic Analog Ensemble and Heroes & Villains), Salim Naffah (from Alko B), and Pascal Semerdjian (drummer for the post-rock group SANAM and the band Postcards) are Prefaces.

 

 

“Marmoura” is my new favorite song from the Beirut trio, a lithe yet sun-soaked Middle Eastern coastal funk workout.
