London, UK duo lavender are childhood friends Adam Jackson and Oskar Rice.
Sharing a love of Elliott Smith and J Dilla, one is in an indie band, the other a DJ/producer.
That sonic partnership shines on new track “lowlight:slowlight,” which is as much about a wistful yet impassioned sung Americana-via-London melody as it is about a breakbeat straight from the turntable.
