Love this ongoing collaboration between the Nottingham, UK retro-blues funk-rock band Little Barrie and Malcolm Catto, the English drummer, producer, and member of the Heliocentrics.

 

 

(Their first album together, Quatermass Seven, was released by Madlib on his Madlib Invazion label back in 2020.)

 

 

“Zero Sun,“ the lead single for the team’s first project for Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound, is a raw, blues-drenched, low-slung swagger.
