After collaborating with Thundercat on his 2020 cut, “It Is What It Is,” the Brazilian guitar virtuoso Pedro Martins reunites with one of Earth’s best bassists alongside drummer prodigy JD Beck to ponder and wonder on “Isn’t It Strange,” an interstellar trip through easygoing 70s yacht rock and blistering jazz fusion.
