Your new favorite dance genre, Shangaan Electro, is the brainchild of Soweto, South Africa’s Nozinja.
He’s just been signed by Warp Records, and as they put it, Shangaan Electro is “a 21st century reboot of local folk tradition, Tsonga disco, kwaito and South African house.”
