Frank Ocean recently covered Aaliyah covering the Isley Brothers‘ “At Your Best (You Are Love)” in honor of what would have been the R ‘n’ B singer’s 36th birthday.

 

I have not heard a more perfect vocal this year, and had to add some chilled, tidal djembe beats, some graceful strings, and some watery piano key chimes.
