Album of the Week: Homer – Ensatina (Big Crown Records)

 

The debut solo release from the former Holy Hive member.

 

 

 

Ensatina is a leftfield soul and R&B rove from Homer Steinweiss, a Brooklyn-based musician and drummer for the likes of Solange, Clairo, Adele, and Bruno Mars, among others.

 

 

Featuring an extremely talented line-up of features including Michael Rault, MINOVA, Hether, KIRBY, Flikka, Dave Guy, and more, Ensatina fascinates with its otherworldly sound palette and raw textures around the edges of every track.
