One of the strongest compilations of 2024.

Translated as “Let’s go to the disco” in Indonesian, Ayo Ke Disco paints a vivid picture of the energetic music spaces across Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Hong Kong during the 70s and 80s by bringing together ten rare psychedelic funk, disco, city pop, and Hindustani-Arabic grooves.

What a time.

Here’s one of my favorite songs from the release.
