Album of the Week: Svaneborg Kardyb – Superkilen (Gondwana Records)

 

The latest album from the Danish duo.

 

 

 

Named after a public park in the ethnically diverse Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Superkilen is the new project from the neo-classical jazz duo Nikolaj Svaneborg and Jonas Kardyb that blends hints of subtle instrumentation with strong melodies that linger.
