“An ode to the sacred, yet joyous act of dancing.”

Dance, No One’s Watching is the latest album from the London five-piece Ezra Collective, who carry the honor of being the first jazz act to win the prestigious Mercury Prize for their previous album, Where I’m Meant to Be, released in 2022.

Clocking in at 19 tracks, Dance, No One’s Watching charts the course of a night out, weaving together soul, hip-hop, jazz, and uptempo Afrobeat sounds.

Here’s one of my favorite songs from the release.
