Album of the Week: Ben Böhmer – Bloom (Ninja Tune)

 

The first album in three years from the Berlin-based electronic music artist.

 

It features Oh Wonder, Lykke Li, and Enfant Sauvage from the French duo The Blaze. 

 

 

 

Bloom contains multitudes. 

 

 

Ben Böhmer’s new album spans indie-electronica, uptempo dance, and downtempo acoustic sounds, all of which are unified through a thread of deep emotion and feeling.
