With a humming, heatwave bassline reminiscent of Wayne Smith’s “Under Me Sleng Teng” and made only using iPad and iPhone apps, UK vocalist Beat Spacek (fka Steve Spacek who landed the number 45 spot on my Top 100 Tracks of 2013) starts 2015 with an ode to his hometown of London, “Modern Streets.”
